InterPlay is an active and creative approach to unlocking the wisdom of the body. It is a system of guided, improvisational forms and tools based in telling stories, making sounds, creating movement, and having stillness. InterPlay integrates body, mind, heart, and spirit. Co-founded in 1989 by Phil Porter (originally a Bloomingtonian!!) and Cynthia Winton-Henry, InterPlay InterPlay is a fun way to de-stress, reduce anxiety, and discover connections. It teaches the language and ethic of play in a deep and powerful way. Playing together builds community and fosters embodiment. The spill-over effect of InterPlay in daily life can bring more joy, ease, depth, and openness.
Maryellen May will lead this InterPlay Workshop in the Unity chapel on Wednesday, October 4, with the intention that this will become a monthly event. Set up and social time starts at 1:00 p.m., with the workshop running from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. There is no cost; however, a love offering towards Unity of Bloomington would be very welcome. Invite a little PLAY into your lives. Come and join the FUN!has a home base in Oakland, California, with groups in communities worldwide and online.
