Karen Williams

Karen Williams was ordained in the Christian Church over 40 years ago and served as a pastor with the Salvation Army for a decade. During that time, she frequently was a guest speaker as faculty of the Salvation Army training college in Chicago. Before moving out west, she worked at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago. Then in Phoenix she worked in various positions with the City. She retired over six years ago as the Deputy Director of Parks and Recreation in Phoenix. Most importantly, Karen cares deeply about her spiritual journey and desires to stay connected with God in all things. She and her wife Wendy Wonderly began attending Unity of Bloomington in January, 2021, on Zoom, after having attended Unity in Arizona before relocating here. Karen is happy to now call Ellettsville, Indiana home and is grateful to be invited to be a guest speaker at Unity of Bloomington.
