FOOT NOTES

**James’ Journey to Jerusalem

Join us in CommUnity Hall on Saturday, July 12, at 7 p.m. for this 87 minute film. South African actor Siyabonga Melongisi Shibe stars as a devout Christian who becomes part of Tel Aviv's migrant force after making a pilgrimage from his African village to the Holy Land in this cinematic look at the contrast between hypocritical Western values and cultural Israeli divisions.

***Conscious Prosperity Workshop

John Moore, the Debt-free Guru, will present “Conscious Prosperity:
The Secret to Simple & Lasting Personal Wealth” on Sunday, July 20, from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. for a voluntary, value-based tuition. Participants will learn how to pay off all consumer debt in 1 to 3 years. And, if you have a mortgage, pay that off in another 4 to 5 years. Then, take the same money you were using to pay your debts and build true wealth turning every $1 of debt into $12.98 of real wealth. Bring a calculator, a list of your debts (showing current balance, current payment and minimum payment - principle & interest only). This information is to complete your personal plan, will not be shared in class and is completely confidential. Register in advance to ensure that we have adequate materials by calling 812-333-2484. For more information go to www. debtfreeguru.com.

****Kathryn: The Story of a Teller

Join us in the Fillmore Room on Sunday, July 27 at 11:30 a.m. for this charming, 88 minute documentary film. It is part ghost story, part southern gothic and part biography of a woman who transcends all three. Her story, unique in its own gifts, also attracts the orbits of several others. Whether on the story- teller's circuit, recounting her own life or at home surmising the movements of her personal ghost, "Jeffrey," Kathryn is all at once the southern belle, the modern feminist, and ultimately our guide to a life less ordinary. This film won the 2005 Crystal Heart Award for Documentary Feature at the Heartland Film Festival.
